Al-Albani and Al-Qaradhawi

The most influential intellectual guides to The Muslim Brotherhood.

Both are shaped and influenced to some degree by ideas of Rashid Ridha.

One represents mainly the traditionalist salafis, while the other the reformist salafis.

Al-Albani is considered the greatest contemporary 'muhaddith' (traditionalist) while Al-Qaradhawi arguably is the greatest 'alim' (scientist) of Islam in our times.

Both are reformers in the true sense of the word, calling humanity to Allah via way of the pious predecessors, although differed slightly in a few areas of Islamic sciences.
